Obituary for Daniel Garret Cox

Daniel Garret Cox passed away suddenly on March 31, 2019. Dan was born July 2, 1950 in Mineola, New York, enlisted in the Navy at age 23 serving 2 years and had moved to California in 1978. He retired after 35 years in the printing business in 2013. Dan was preceded in death by his parents John and Marilyn Cox and brother Steve Cox of Massapequa , New York.

Dan is survived by his wife of 38 years Judy Cox of Folsom, CA, son Kasey Cox of Folsom, CA, son Dakota Cox (Amanda) of Claremont, CA, and daughter Alex Cox of Sunnyvale, CA. Grandpa Dan loved his grandchildren Tanner, Evolet and Dominik.

Dan leaves behind his surviving siblings, sister Claudia Lightfoot (Kirk) of Fair Oaks, CA, brother David Cox (Nicole) of North Highlands, CA, brother Christopher Cox (Ginger) of Oakland, CA, and sisters in law Susan Brimlow and Lauranne Enz of Long Island, NY.
Uncle Danny was also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Dan was a fun guy who loved vacationing with his family to Disneyland, New York and many dance events with his talented children.
Dan will be greatly missed by his family and will always be there in our hearts. Gone to soon. Will love you forever “7”
