Obituary for Therese - Zeh

On June 28, 2018, God took home Terry (Therese) Garry Zeh to be with Him after an extensive illness and passed away at home in peace with her family by her side and Sonny her cocker spaniel whom she adored. Therese was preceded by her husband, Richard J. Zeh whom she was married to for 65 years; her parents, John Thomas Garry and Emma Roos Garry; her sister Miriam Garry Adams, and her brother John Thomas Garry.

Therese was an amazing loving mother who took on motherhood with a surprise when she was prepared to adopt 1 child, but when the call came back in 1958 that she was going to be getting twins, she set the example of what a great loving mother was with a strong faith in God.

Terry was survived by her sister Anne Garry Richmond and 2 nieces and 2 nephews of Albany, New York; her two daughters Kathy Trickey, son in law, Robert Trickey and granddaughter Emily Stottele of Michigan; as well as Anne Miranda (twin to Kathy) two grandsons, Patrick Frisbie and David Grant, and her great granddaughter Casandra Frisbie, the love of her life, of Folsom. California.

Therese was a graduate of Vincentian Institute and was one of the first women to attend Rensselaer Polytechnics Institute in Troy, New York, where she studied architecture. She was an active alumnus and was the first person to receive the alumni admissions award from RPI. Terry was one of the first women to be employed by the Navy as a civilian draftswoman during the war, she volunteered at NASA in California and was an active member of the Diamond Glen Home Owner's Association for many years on the board providing leadership and guidance in various roles; where she spent the last 20 years of retirement with her daughters and their families close by.

A funeral mass will be held at Saint John the Baptist Church, Folsom, CA on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 11:00 am.
